Introductions...
Hello Future Students!
As you know, Mrs. Law is going to be out for awhile, having her baby. Therefore, I have been hired to fill her tremendous shoes in her absence. As I am excited to get to know each one of you, I thought you may want to know a bit about me. I don't want to bore you with my complete autobiography here, this is just the Cliff-Notes version, but please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have about me, and know that I am very excited to spend the remainder of the school year with you!
I grew up on Otisco Lake, and graduated from Marcellus High School. While in high school my favorite activities were snowboarding, photography, and hanging out on the lake (these activities still happen to be among my favorites). I received my Bachelors degree in English from Binghamton University, and began my masters immediately for Secondary English Education because I couldn't wait to teach. Once I finished my masters, I taught 7th grade English at Bellevue Middle School in the Syracuse City School District, but they couldn't keep me this year due to budget cuts. That brings me to where we are now!
I can't wait to get to know you all, and continue this ever-important year with you! Please feel free to contact me by email (bowman.erinL@gmail.com) if you have any questions, or just come up and ask :).
Sincerely,
Miss Bowman
